This wasn't nearly the response we were expecting, kind of a let down really. Poor Frank, it hit him hard...he had it built up in his head and the kids just didn't hit the mark. He tries so hard! My mother however, was funny, she was WAY more excited than our boys were. Maybe we should take my parents instead of the boys!
*Disclaimer: to be fair...my kids have no idea what Disneyland really is. They know they are suppose to want to go because it's all over the TV and their friends have gone and had a good time. But other than that, they haven't got a clue! The closest event they have gone too is the Puyallup fair to just get the tiniest glimpse of what Disneyland truly is. So it will be fun to take them but how do you get excited about something you really have no clue about???
Frank should have had pictures and just said DISNEY LAND!!!!!!!!!! LOL I think they thought they were going to have to go to ALaska :) Hope they have a ball.
ReplyDeleteThey were more excited about missing school. I still think you should take your parents. They were REALLY excited!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED my mother on that video! I should take them! Auntie, don't those boys act like they are tortured all the time...the looks on their faces...they were just waiting for the ball to drop and their lives to be ruined!
ReplyDeleteha! Cute video. My parents took us to disney land when I was 5ish I think. A good age! Though I did enjoy it bunches when I went back at 17.
ReplyDeleteJohn, my first trip was my honeymoon! I can't remember much about it , it was all so overwhelming...I can't wait to go again!
ReplyDeleteThat's how Zac felt about the bikes he painstakingly saved for and researched for the boys. They LOVE them now but didn't get them before...they are balance bikes and Xzavior thought it was broken because it had no peddles sooooo Zac was sad for weeks because they didn't jump for joy....they were confused.
